Alliance High Tension .025 - .044 Blue Card, Plain KF Treble/Alliance Wound Bass. The 540J/Alliance is made up of wound strings from KF Alliance, a quite different plain treble-string from Savarez than the Traditional. This material is polished, gliding better under the fingers yet offering slightly less tonal stability than the rougher finished Traditional. The Alliance projects well and has a powerful high tone. A light responsive material with loads of percussive highs and a very precise dynamism. The Alliance treble strings with their very personal tonal character are not suited to every player or instrument nor easy to predict the result per type of guitar, they are however more than worth the experiment to try on your instrument.
